In the past, the payouts used to be a lot higher for Full House and Flushes. They used to payout 15 to 1 and 9 to 1 respectively. Casinos almost everywhere have lowered this to 9 and 6. Make sure you know the odds before you start playing. Whether you are playing online video poker or live at a casino, you should always check these numbers as some have even reduced the odds to 8 and 5 or even lower! If you find a casino that still has the old odds, learn how to play well and play that machine often. I can almost guarantee you that no online casino has higher payouts than this.
Make sure to look at the pay charts whenever you get ready to play a video poker game. If you get ready to play Jacks or Better and at least see the payouts shown above.
